What is the AI Visibility audit report?

The AI Visibility audit is a ready-made report on how visible a business is to AI answers and search. Open Growth, then Reports, and press Make the audit. It scores six areas out of 5 with the reasons, lists the top three things to do and the questions AI answers without naming the business, then adds site health. It opens ready to print or save as a PDF, and works well as a free audit for a prospect.

#Make the audit

1. Open the project for the business you want to audit.
2. Open Growth, then Reports.
3. Under AI Visibility audit, press Make the audit.
4. Choose Save as PDF in the print window. The audit is also kept under Past reports.

The branding you choose under Make a report applies to the audit too.

#What is in it

• Where you stand: a short written summary in plain words (on Entrepreneur and Enterprise).
• Scores: Overall (out of 5), then each of six areas: AI answers, search, site health, authority, reviews and consistency. An area we could not measure says Not measured.
• Why each score: the reasons behind each number.
• Top 3 priorities: the three things that would help most.
• Questions AI answers without naming you: from your AI Visibility checks.
• Site health: your latest scan's health score and the issues that stop AI and search engines reading the site.

#Get a fuller audit

The audit reads what UtilitySEO already holds for the project, so it is fuller when:

• a site scan has run: see run a site scan;
• Search Console is connected: see connect Search Console;
• AI Visibility has run at least once: see how AI visibility checks work;
• competitors are added, for authority: see add or remove competitors.

#What it costs

The scores, priorities and sections use no AI. The written Where you stand summary uses 1 AI use on Entrepreneur, is unlimited on Enterprise under fair use, and is left out on Minimum. Only a summary that was actually written is counted.

#Can I audit a prospect who is not a customer yet?

Yes. Add their website as a project, run a site scan and, where you can, AI Visibility, then make the audit. Projects count towards your plan's limit.

#Is this the same as the AI visibility scores section?

The AI visibility scores section in Make a report has the same scores, reasons, priorities and questions, without the written summary and site health, and never uses an AI use.
