How long does UtilitySEO keep my data?

While your account is open, we keep your data so the product works, including Search Console history beyond the 16 months Google keeps. When you close your account it is switched off at once and erased 30 days later. A few records are kept for set periods, such as invoices for 7 years for tax law, and backup copies roll off within about 6 months.

When something stops
- You delete a project: its scans, keyword history, reports, to-do list and AI visibility runs are deleted at once. See delete your data.
- You disconnect a Google service: we revoke our access and delete the stored access tokens. Reports already collected stay until you delete the project or close the account.
- Your trial or plan ends without a new plan: your data is kept, and Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Ads are disconnected 10 days later. Nothing collected is deleted then.
When you close your account
- Straight away: the account is switched off and every session ends.
- For 30 days: you can reopen it by signing in.
- After 30 days: everything tied to it is permanently erased: projects, Google connections and tokens, Search Console, Google Analytics and Ads data, AI visibility results and content.
What is kept after erasure:
- a one-way scrambled copy (a hash) of your email address, so a closed account cannot claim a second free trial;
- billing records and invoices, kept by Stripe and by us for 7 years for tax law;
- the AI cost log and error logs for the periods above, which hold no Google report data;
- the record of your deletion request, as evidence we answered it.

Backups
We keep encrypted backup copies of the database for disaster recovery, in Western Europe. They are deleted on a rolling basis, at the latest about 6 months after they are made. Data you delete, or that we erase when you close your account, leaves the backups as they roll off.
