How do I delete my data from UtilitySEO?

You can delete one website's data by deleting its project, stop us reading Google by disconnecting it, or erase everything by closing your account, which is permanently erased 30 days later. To have your data erased sooner, or to ask for anything to be corrected, email support@utilityseo.com.
Choose what to delete

Delete a project
Only the workspace owner can delete a project.
- On the Projects screen, press the bin icon on the project.
- Press Continue, then type the project name exactly as it appears.
- Press Delete this project.
There is no undo. See projects and workspaces.
Close your account
- Cancel any paid plan first in Settings, then Billing. Closing the account does not cancel the subscription for you.
- Open Settings, then Account, and press Deactivate account under Danger zone.

What is kept after erasure
When your account is erased, everything tied to it goes: projects, Google connections and tokens, Search Console, GA4 and Ads data, AI visibility results and content. A few things are kept, for reasons the law or fairness requires:
- a one-way scrambled copy (a hash) of your email address, so a closed account cannot claim a second free trial (the address itself is removed);
- billing records and invoices, kept by Stripe and by us for 7 years for tax law;
- our AI cost log (kept 400 days) and error logs (kept 90 days), which hold no Google report data;
- the record of your deletion request, as evidence we answered it.
Deleted data also stays in our encrypted backup copies until they roll off, at the latest about 6 months after each copy was made.

Can you erase my data straight away instead of after 30 days?
Yes. Email support@utilityseo.com from the address on your account and ask for erasure now. We answer within one month.
Will deleting my data remove UtilitySEO from my Google account?
Disconnecting asks Google to revoke our access. To check, look at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove UtilitySEO there if it is still listed.
