How do I filter and search my scan results?

Updated 2 min read

On this page

On Audit, SEO Results, every filter narrows the same list of findings. Use the search box to find a page, an address or an issue by name; All, Tracked and Untracked to see what is on your to-do list; Show tasks for to split the work between whoever writes your content and whoever builds your site; and the area and severity filters in the summary strip.

The area filters above the scan results: All areas, Technical, Indexing, Content, Links, Speed and AI answers, each with a count
Filter the findings by area

Search your whole site

Type in Search pages, URLs, issue titles across your entire site…. The findings list is replaced by the pages that match, each with:

  • its title, address and main heading,
  • its page score (a dash means the page was not one of the 25 in the speed sample; its other checks still ran),
  • how many issues it has, and under Matching issues, the ones whose names match what you typed.

Try part of an address (such as "blog" or "contact"), an issue name (such as "alt text") or a page title. The cross clears the search and brings the list back. While a scan is still running, more pages keep arriving.

All, Tracked and Untracked

  • All: every finding.
  • Tracked: only those you have added to your to-do list with Track Issue. See track issues and the Progress list.
  • Untracked: the ones not on your list yet.

Each shows its count.

Show tasks for

A drop-down that splits the work:

  • Everyone: every finding.
  • Marketing - content & images: on-page words, titles, descriptions and images.
  • Developer - technical & speed: performance, Core Web Vitals and technical fixes.

Each finding also carries a small Marketing or Developer label. Use this to send one person their list.

Severity and area

  • Click Critical or High in the summary strip to show only that severity. The Dashboard's Critical issues and High issues figures open the page filtered the same way.
  • Click an area such as Content or Speed to show only that area. Site Health opens SEO Results already filtered to the area you clicked. See SEO Results explained.

When nothing matches

The list says so, for example No tracked issues yet. Press Track Issue on any issue to add it here., and Clear filters resets them all.

The This Page view

The This Page view has the same All, Tracked and Untracked buttons, with counts, the same Show tasks for choice, and severity buttons. See the This Page results.

Questions people ask

Can I export just what I have filtered?

The raw export always holds everything the scan found. Filter the CSV in your spreadsheet. See export scan results.

Is Marketing or Developer always right?

It is a sensible default based on the kind of issue. Some sites have one person doing both, so use Everyone.
