How does AI Score rate a page?

On the Keywords page, open More, then AI Score. Pick a page of your site (or paste its address) and press Score page. You get an SEO score across five areas, an AI Search score for how ready the page is to be quoted by AI answers, the facts it covers and misses, and a list of improvements. It is on Entrepreneur and Enterprise, and each score uses one AI use.

#Score a page

1. Open Analytics, Keywords, then More and AI Score.
2. Under Pick a page from your site, search your pages (type "home" for the homepage), or paste any address from your site.
3. Press Score page. The searches that page already leads for in Search Console are sent with it, so the score is about what people really search.

#What you get

• SEO score: one figure, with a Score breakdown across keyword relevance, content depth, E-E-A-T signals (signs of experience, expertise, authority and trust, such as a named author and first-hand detail), readability and technical structure.
• AI Search cite-readiness: how likely the page is to be quoted by AI answers, and whether it has an answer-first structure (a direct answer near the top).
• Facts you cover and Missing facts to add. A button under the missing facts adds them to your to-do list.
• Top issue, and Improvement recommendations, each marked high, medium or low impact.

Where a recommendation is about wording, such as a title or an opening paragraph, AI Generate writes a suggestion you can Copy. That uses one more AI use.

Score another page starts again, and Recent scores (this session) lists what you scored since you opened the page.

#A tip that helps every page

Pages that show real first-hand experience, such as your own tests, photos, real numbers and named examples, get quoted more by AI answers and score higher on E-E-A-T. It is the one thing AI-written content cannot fake.

#Is this the same as the site scan?

No. The site scan checks every page for technical problems without AI. AI Score reads one page's writing in depth. To see whether AI crawlers can reach your site at all, see can AI answers use your site.

#Will a high score get me cited by ChatGPT?

Nobody can promise that. A high score means nothing obvious on the page stands in the way.
