How do I change the country and dates on Keywords, and export the table?
On this page
At the top of the Keywords page, the country menu shows your positions in one market (or Worldwide), the date button sets the period, and Export downloads what the table shows as a CSV spreadsheet or a printable PDF. Every figure on the page follows the country and dates you pick.

Country (market)
Search Console's average position blends every country together, which can make you look better or worse than you are at home. Pick your own country to see positions there. Common markets are at the top of the list and All countries below.
- Worldwide shows every country together. Search volumes are counted per country, so on Worldwide the Volume column asks you to pick one.
- The choice also sets the country for search volumes, keyword research and the Blog Plan's ideas from Search Console.
- If a country has no impressions in the period, the page says so and offers Show every market.
Dates
Press the date button to pick a preset: Last 3 days, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, Last 60 days, Last 90 days, Last 6 months, Last year or Last 2 years. For exact dates choose Custom, pick a start and an end date, and press Apply.
Search Console keeps about 16 months, so earlier dates cannot be picked here. Comparisons such as "ranked higher" are against the period just before the one you chose, and YoY against the same period a year earlier. Search Console runs two to three days behind, so the last few days are not in yet.
Export
- Set up the table the way you want it: a group, a filter, a search, the sort order.
- Press Export.
- Choose CSV Spreadsheet or Visual PDF. A preview shows the columns and rows.
- Press Download CSV, or Download PDF, which opens your browser's print window so you can save it as a PDF.
The CSV holds exactly the rows the table shows, every page of them, in your language, with ignored keywords left out. The PDF is a short report: a summary, the keywords in the table, your tracked keywords and your top pages. More on files in export to CSV.
Questions people ask
My position looks different from Search Console. Why?
Check the country. Search Console's own screens show every country unless you filter them, while this page may be set to one market.
Can I see more than 16 months?
Not on this page, because Google deletes older data. Our weekly records keep going: see Full history on the GA4 page's Organic Traffic tab, and on each keyword's History tab.
The PDF did not download. What happened?
Your browser blocked the print window, so the report was saved as a web page file instead. Open it and print to PDF, or allow pop-ups for the app.
