What do I do if it says "We could not load your workspace"?
On this page
Your projects and settings are all still there: the app failed to fetch them, and it usually clears on a second go. Press the retry button on the message. If it shows again, press Log in again, which signs you out and rebuilds your session, the usual fix. If you are sent to the sign-in page by yourself, your session had ended; just sign in again.
Work through these checks
- Retry. Press the retry button on the message. A brief network hiccup is the most common cause.
- Log in again. Press Log in again and sign in. This clears the stored sign-in on that browser and starts a fresh one.
- Check your connection. Open another website. If nothing loads, the problem is your internet connection or a work network blocking the app.
- Refresh the page. After an update to the app, a page left open for a long time may need a refresh.
- Try a private window. If it works there, a browser extension or old stored data is getting in the way. Clear the site data for app.utilityseo.com, or turn extensions off one at a time.
- Ask a colleague to try. If it fails for everyone in your team at once, the app may be briefly unavailable. Wait a few minutes and try again.
When you are sent to sign in
If your sign-in has ended, the app does not show a retry that cannot work: it takes you straight to the sign-in page. Sign-ins end when:
- your password was changed or reset on another device;
- you unticked Remember me for 7 days and closed the browser;
- the account was closed.
See sign-in codes and Remember me and cannot sign in.
Questions people ask
Have I lost my projects?
No. This message is about loading the screen, not your data. Nothing is deleted.
It happens every time on one computer only. Why?
Usually stored data or an extension on that browser. Try a private window, then clear the site data for app.utilityseo.com and sign in again.
It still fails after all of this. What now?
Email support@utilityseo.com with the time it happened and the browser you use, and we will look into it.
