Why does each project show only one Google property?
On this page
In UtilitySEO one project is one website, so each project reads one Search Console property, one Google Analytics property and one Google Ads account. That keeps every number about the same site. You change which property a project shows in Project settings, Connections, under Property shown for this project.
Why one property per project
Many Google accounts can see several websites. If a project could mix them, a keyword from one site would sit beside visits from another, and the advice would be wrong. So each project is pinned to the property for its own website, and every page in the project reads only that one.
When you connect, we choose for you: the Search Console property whose address matches your project (www or not), and for Analytics, the property that measures the same website. You can change either.
Change the property a project shows
- Open Projects and press the cog on the project card to open Project settings.
- On the Connections tab, find Property shown for this project under Google Search Console or Google Analytics (GA4).
- Pick the right one. Changes save straight away.
The quicker way: press Change beside the website address at the top of the Keywords or GA4 page. It opens the same Connections settings without leaving the page, and the page reloads with your choice when you close it.

For Google Ads, the same tab has Ads account for this project.
If a GA4 property measures a different website from the project, the app warns you, so a wrong pick is easy to spot.
Looking after more than one website
Add one project per website. Each keeps its own properties, scans, keywords and reports.
| Plan | Websites (projects) |

| Enterprise | Unlimited (fair use) |
When one project really covers several properties
Some sites are split across properties, for example a shop on a subdomain with its own Search Console property. For those, Project settings, Connections has Allow multiple properties. Turn it on and pages in the project show a picker to switch between your Search Console and Analytics properties. Leave it off unless you need it; off is the recommended setting.
Questions people ask
My Search Console has both a domain property and a URL property. Which should I pick?
Either works. A domain property covers every version of the site (www, non-www, http and https), so it usually shows the fullest numbers.
Can a team member see other sites on my Google account?
No. A project reads only the property chosen for it, whoever is looking at it.
