How does the free trial work?

Every new account gets a free trial of the Minimum plan for 14 days, with no card needed. With a code the trial lasts 30 days or more, and some codes give the Entrepreneur or Enterprise plan instead. Nothing is charged when the trial ends; you choose a plan only if you want to carry on.

#What you get

• Without a code: 14 days of the Minimum plan.
• With a code (from a partner, a promotion or a friend's referral link): at least 30 days. The code also sets which plan you try. The sign-up page tells you, for example "30 days of Entrepreneur, no card needed".

During the trial you have everything in the plan you are trying, with its limits. A Minimum trial has no AI features, Growth blogs or AI visibility tracking; those start on Entrepreneur. See plans and prices.

#Keeping track

The sidebar shows Trial Active with the time remaining. In the last 10 days, a small window counting down the days left appears once each time you open the app; Not now, keep looking around closes it. Three days before the end, we email you and add a note to the bell in the app.

#When the trial ends

• Nothing is charged, because we never took a card.
• The app shows Your free trial has ended with the plans to choose from. Until you choose one, scans and the other features are paused, and the Claude or ChatGPT connector and the API stop answering.
• Your projects, scans and history are kept, ready for when you choose a plan.
• Ten days after the trial ends, we disconnect Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Ads from your projects. Nothing already collected is deleted, and reconnecting is one click.

#Choosing a plan

You can choose a plan at any time, during the trial or after it:

1. Open Settings, Billing (or press Upgrade wherever you see it).
2. Choose Compare plans (after the trial it reads Upgrade plan), pick monthly or yearly, and pick your plan.
3. Pay by card on Stripe's secure checkout page.

Your subscription starts the day you pay. See invoices and payment.

#Will I be charged automatically when the trial ends?

No. The trial needs no card, so there is nothing to charge. You only pay if you choose a plan.

#Can I use a code on an email address that had an account before?

No. Promo and partner codes are for brand-new sign-ups only. If the email address has had an account with us before, you can still sign up, just without a code.

#I have a code but my trial is only 14 days. Why?

The code has to be entered when you sign up, on the first step. If you forgot it, email support@utilityseo.com with the code. See promo and partner codes.

#Can I try the AI features before I pay?

A standard trial is on Minimum, which has no AI features. Some codes give an Entrepreneur or Enterprise trial with the AI features included.
