How do I connect my Webflow website?
On this page
In Webflow, generate a site token with CMS read and write access under Site settings, then Apps & integrations, API access. Then in UtilitySEO open Project settings, find Webflow on the Connections tab, press Connect and paste the token. If your site has only one CMS collection we find your blog automatically; otherwise name the collection.

Step 1: generate a site token in Webflow
- Open your site in Webflow and go to Site settings.
- Choose Apps & integrations, then API access.
- Generate a new site token with CMS read and write access.
- Copy the token.
Step 2: connect it in UtilitySEO
- On the Projects screen, press the cog on the project to open Project settings.
- On the Connections tab, find Webflow and press Connect.
- Fill in: - Site URL: your website's address. - Collection (only if the site has several): the slug of the collection that holds your blog posts, for example
blog-posts. Leave it blank if the site has one collection. - Site API token: paste it. - If your collection's fields have different names from a standard Webflow blog, press My fields have different names and say which field holds the title, body, summary and slug.
- Under Publish posts as, choose a draft or Publish immediately.
- Press Connect Webflow.
What you can do once connected
- Publish blog posts from the Blog Plan into your blog collection. See publish to your website.
- Apply SEO titles and meta descriptions you approve on Opportunities.
- Unpublish a post or Remove from CMS to delete it from the collection.
One difference on Webflow
Webflow saves title and description changes to your site's staging version. They go live when you publish your site in Webflow, as with any change you make there. Blog posts follow the Publish posts as choice.
