How does the UtilitySEO affiliate programme work?

Join in Settings, Affiliates: choose a code (or let us make one) and press Join and get my link. You earn 50% of every payment a customer you referred makes, for up to 12 months from their first payment, paid monthly to your PayPal or Wise email. The tab shows your links, sign-ups, earnings and payouts.

#Join

1. Open Settings and choose the Affiliates tab.
2. Under Choose your code (optional), type a code such as SARAHSEO: 3 to 30 letters, numbers, dashes or underscores. Leave it blank and we make one for you.
3. Press Join and get my link.
4. Under Where we pay you, check the email address your PayPal or Wise account uses and press Save.

#Your links

Any of these counts as yours:

• Homepage: utilityseo.com with ?ref= and your code.
• Free SEO scan: our free scan page, with your code.
• Straight to sign up: the app's sign-up page with your code filled in.

You can also add ?ref= and your code to any utilityseo.com page. Someone counts as yours when they sign up through your link within 90 days of clicking it. They get a free trial of at least 30 days with no card.

• Sign-ups, Paying, Due to you, This month so far, Earned in total and Paid out.
• Your earnings by state: each customer and month as Pending (not settled yet), Approved (goes out with the next payout), Paid, Reversed (refunded or lost in a dispute) or Forfeited.
• Earnings by month, and People you referred with whether each is paying.
• Sales and creator material: briefs, screenshots, demos and approved wording you can use, current versions only.

#The rules

• 50% of every payment, for up to 12 months from the customer's first payment.
• Paid monthly, in arrears, with no minimum. A refunded payment does not count.
• A refund on a month already paid out comes off your next payout. A payout never goes below zero; anything left carries on to the next one.
• A disputed payment earns nothing while it is disputed. A lost dispute counts as a refund; a won one counts as normal.
• A yearly plan earns its share one twelfth a month over the year it pays for, for the months inside your 12.
• If your share changes, the new rate applies to payments from then on.
• If your code is paused, nobody new can sign up with it, but customers you already brought in keep earning for you.
• No paid ads on the UtilitySEO name, no spam, and no signing up yourself. A code closed for breaking these earns nothing more, and unpaid earnings are lost.

Refer a friend gives you a discount on your own subscription. Affiliates earn money, and suit people with an audience, such as creators, consultants and agencies. See refer a friend.

#Do I need a paid plan to be an affiliate?

You need a UtilitySEO account to join, from Settings, Affiliates.

#Some amounts are marked as not in pounds. Why?

A few payments may have been made in another currency. They are shown as Stripe charged them, not converted, so check those amounts with us at support@utilityseo.com.
