What is the UtilitySEO Academy?

The UtilitySEO Academy is a set of free courses on SEO, Search Console, Google Analytics 4, getting your pages indexed, local SEO and showing up in AI answers. Open the Academy tab on your Projects screen. Each lesson has notes, a short checklist to do on your own site and a five-question quiz, and finishing a course gives you a certificate.

#Take a course

1. On the Projects screen, open the Academy tab (or the UtilitySEO Academy card above your projects).
2. Pick a course. What's covered shows what you will be able to do afterwards and the lessons in it.
3. Press Start the course. Next time, Continue where you left off takes you back to the last lesson you opened.
4. In each lesson, watch the video where there is one, read the notes, then work through Do it now, the checklist for your own site. Many lessons have a button that opens the screen in UtilitySEO where the work is done, and Add this checklist to my to-do adds the steps to your project.
5. Answer Check what you learned: get at least 4 of the 5 questions right to complete the lesson. You can try again as often as you like.

#Your certificate

Complete every lesson and the certificate appears, with your name on it. You can Print or save as PDF, Add to LinkedIn or Copy certificate link.

#Questions people ask

#Do I need a paid plan to use the Academy?

No. Every course is free on every plan and during the trial.

#The name on my certificate is wrong. How do I change it?

The certificate uses the name on your account when you finished the course. Change your name in Settings, Account, before you complete the last lesson.

#Some lessons have no video yet. Is that right?

Yes. Videos are being added course by course. Until a lesson's video is ready, it says so, and the notes, checklist and quiz work as normal.
