What are Growth blogs and AI uses?

A Growth blog is one full blog post written for you from the Blog Plan. An AI use is any other AI writing you click for, such as improving a paragraph, a page title and description, or AI fixes for a listing. Blog outlines are free. Entrepreneur includes 20 Growth blogs and 100 AI uses a month; Enterprise includes 100 Growth blogs a month across all your projects and unlimited AI uses under fair use; Minimum has no AI writing.
The allowances

Both reset on the 1st of each month, UK time. Unused ones do not carry over. Trials get the allowance of the plan being trialled.
What uses what
1 Growth blog: each full draft from Write the draft (or Rewrite the whole draft), and each post autopilot writes.
1 AI use each time you press:
- Improve on selected text, or Suggest more ideas, in the Blog Plan
- Generate in the Meta Generator (titles and descriptions, image alt text or FAQs)
- Write it in the YouTube Writer
- Write the AI fixes in the Listing Optimiser
- Bulk Rewrite: 1 AI use per 10 pages (11 to 20 pages uses 2)
- Recommended competitors on Competitor scores
- Make the audit on Reports, for the written summary at the top of the AI Visibility audit
Free, never counted: blog outlines, the growth plan, the weekly AI visibility checks, topic gaps, the competitor brief, Opportunities and Plan, site scans, reports you make (other than the audit summary) and emails, the Listing Optimiser's score, checking pages before a bulk rewrite, and the Claude or ChatGPT connector.
If something fails
A use is only counted when the writing actually comes back. If a post or a request fails, it is given back. In a bulk rewrite, uses for pages that come back unusable are returned, and the result says how many were used.
Where to see what is left
Open Growth, then Growth Engine: the This month box at the top shows AI uses and Growth blogs left. The Writer shows your Growth blogs left under Write the draft, and pages with AI buttons, such as the Listing Optimiser, show the AI uses you have left beside them.
When you run out
The app says so and when your allowance comes back. You can wait for the 1st, move to a plan with more, or connect your own Claude or ChatGPT, which never counts against your uses. See plans and prices and AI uses explained.
Questions people ask
Do my team members get their own allowance?
For AI uses, yes: each person's AI uses are counted on their own sign-in. Growth blogs are shared: they belong to the account that owns the projects, so everyone working in that account draws on the same monthly number.
Is an outline the same as a Growth blog?
No. The outline (the title, headings and the searches each should win) is free. Only a full written draft is a Growth blog.
Can I buy extra uses?
Not as a top-up. Enterprise is unlimited under fair use, and the Claude or ChatGPT connector lets you keep working on your own AI subscription.
