Which Google page features show for my searches, and which are mine?
On this page
Google's results page is more than ten links. For many searches it also shows a quoted answer at the top (a featured snippet), a list of People also ask questions, an AI Overview, map results, videos, images, top stories, shopping results or sitelinks under a result. Each time the Rank tracker checks your searches, it also reads which of these boxes showed and whose page each one used. Nothing extra is charged for this.
Where to see them
- Search, Rank tracker: the Google page features panel under the summary, and a Page features column in the table of tracked searches.
- Search, Your searches, Rankings: a line under Keywords you are tracking and small labels under each search.
- Search, Results page snapshot: Other boxes on this page lists each one with the sites it showed.
Reading the panel
The first line says what you own and the box that shows most often without you, for example "You own 3 featured snippets. Not yours yet: People also ask, on 40 of your 120 searches."
Below it, each box that showed at the last check has:
- how many of your searches it showed on,
- how many are yours (green) and how many a competitor's (gold),
- one line on what to do: how to win it if you do not have it, or how to keep it if you do.
In the table, each search has small labels: green ones are yours, gold ones belong to one of your competitors, grey ones went to someone else.
When do they appear?
From the next rank check after 25 October 2026 (checks run every two weeks on Sunday). Until then the panel says when they will appear. Features are read on desktop.
Questions people ask
What counts as mine?
A box counts as yours when it uses a page on your website (subdomains such as shop.yoursite.com count too). For People also ask, the box is yours when one of its answers opens on your page.
Does this use Search Console?
No. It comes from the Google results page the Rank tracker already reads for your positions.
